Blame all the changes: buying a house, trying to get a new job, quitting nursery (okay, I haven't quite done that last one yet), but in any case, I just found out of the news, and surprisingly enough, I'm not really feeling that bad...

I am a geek... let me count the ways.

I went to Barnes and Noble today in order to get a book and some games for the flight to Paris. The DWM that I've been waiting for with Billie on the cover had finally come, so I had to get that. Which includes a poster. And geek that I am, that means said poster must be hung up. Not just hung up anywhere, mind you, but in the SciFi corner of my 'library'. This corner holds everything Star Trek, Doctor Who, Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings related.

I had to move quite a bit of stuff around so that I could fit said poster on the wall in that corner. I decided to go with the Doctor and Donna verses Rose and Donna. I'm not sure why as I dislike the blue suit, but nevertheless, he's now on my wall. I have a picture to show the corner...

I haven't written my full write up yet. I can't imagine being able to do it at this point, maybe later on in the week. I'm very emotionally confused. My poor little shippy heart isn't sure if it's cracked, broken, or healing.

Not much, but it's something, eh?

I think I will have to write another fanfic after Saturday. I realized that it's almost been a year since 'A Note to Self', and that after Saturday, I'm either going to be very happy, which will make me want to write for my overly loud squee, or very sad, which will make me want to write to fix it.

Plus, David's line in the Confidential, which I mention a couple days ago, just begs to be put into a fic.

So I wanted to prep my flist that I may need some betas again. *grin* Oh, is it Saturday yet? It is getting ridiculous that this is continually on my mind all week!!!

I have to jump on the bandwagon for the confidential squeeing. I just love David and Billie. You make a shipper happy, you do.

THIS, my friends, is what I have been waiting all series to see. It had it all. I was completely spoiled and still glued to my seat the entire time. From shipper squee to companion entourage to little pieces of the puzzle that made just a wee bit more sense... I was thoroughly entertained.

I just finished watching and had to talk about it a bit. I'll be writing my review presently, but that'll take a couple of hours at least. To sum it up in a word or two, I'd have to say... absolutely gripping.

I had this thought about the title of the final episode of the series and how it applies to the last three series. It's not really spoilers, but I'll put it under a cut anyway just in case anyone was staying away from the title. It may be a depression, so skip if you'd like...

Okay, I'm been trying to pick up things here and there from people who have mentioned watching the commentary. So, I have answers, but also still questions...

Dear RTD... that was brilliant. Loved the idea for the plot. Loved how it tied in the past two years. Loved the cast involved. Loved how it answers questions and brought up new ones. Loved how my little shipper heart squeed to the point of bursting. Frankly, I adored it.

Oh boy... I transcribed a whole lot more than I thought I would. *hehe* But it was sooo worth it.

I'm still waiting on seeing the episode, but I thought I'd use this time to talk about the awesomeness of the promo for episode 12. I wrote a complete transcription of the trailer.

As I was sitting here watching last week's SciFi episode of Doctor Who's The Unicorn and the Wasp, I saw the commercial for the DVDs of series 1 to 3, which includes the kiss from New Earth. That, of course, made me squee. Also makes me happy for the rest of the series. And that... reminded me of my vid that was a trailer....
